My friend from high school is having a baby girl later this year. So here is the tiny-est dress I have ever made. I  used one of Kitten's dresses that I had saved for a starting point. (Way back then I didnt sew Kitten's clothing)

I also made a little hair bow to go with it. Congrats Ryan I bet she will be beautiful!

Creavtivity got me last night and I made these to sell at my friends craft booth this fall.

Tonight I have to think of something to make for my secret sister at church for her May gift. I dont have any inspiration so I am going to troll crafty blogs to find something cute!

Well a fun time was had by all. Lots of cake was eaten and we had bugles instead of ice cream. Kitten didnt whine too much and shared her toys nicely.

Well birthday is over so now its time to get back to sewing!

Well not much sewing this week I have been sewing more lilly pads and I dyed some blue cotton a darker blue for water, and right now I am waiting for my husband to get me some green spray paint for the tops of the trees. Does it sound like I am a crazy person? Well my family would say that I am already a crazy person. But I cant help it that birthdays bring out the super-crafty-crazy-person that everyone tries to avoid. So I will have apost up sometime tomorrow night with pictures of the party decorations that I am making.

Back to the grind.

So I finally had the time to take some pictures of the suit that I made at Mom's farm! Thanks to my wonderful husband who is a much better picture taker than I am.

Well I have to start planning for Kitten's 5 Birthday this Sat. *Sigh* It will be raining so I cant have the party in the backyard like I had planned. Oh well. See ya'll next week!

Back from the Farm. I made 2 things on my moms ancient machine. I have to go over some of the seams again because the thread kept snapping.
In other news my Aunt Banana has flown in from Cali and I was super excited to meet her today! She is just as lovely as I always thought she was.

I am exhausted. Goodnight.

Well I am off for the weekend to my mom's farm. But before I left in wanted to show yall my favorite thing I have made for myself.

Dont you just love the lining! It makes me smile every time I put it on. I omitted the pockets in the front I am a bit bigger than the stick on the cover of the pattern so I dont think that they would have been flattering. I am in love with this jacket I think that I will make it again in a denim or a large print without the ribbons and just buttons.

Well I am off to pack! I am going to take over my moms sewing room (she has her own room, the meanie) for 2 whole days! I will have lots to post Monday!

Boooring.

Well i didnt do much sewing today I went out with a friend. But I did manage to get something done today!

2 pairs for everyday shorts that will go with anything.

And for her Princess and the Frog birthday (in 1 1/2 weeks yipes!) Lilly Pads!

Well I am off to find something else to sew!

So I have been thinking that I need to make some more good pieces for my own use. I have a lovely dots fabric I am thinking a wrap dress. Oh well we will see I guess.

Mondays always seem to sneek up on me and I can't believe that another week is gone. In just 2 more weeks my daughter "Kitten" will be 5 years old. *sigh* So I pulled together this dress from the new pattern and fabric I got at Joanns the other day.
